There’s a chair, and no one can take your place in it.
Nine weeks of coming apart in company, the body, the grief, the fuckery, all witnessed.
A midlife gestation. For anyone in the middle of everything.
Begins Sunday November 15- Enrollment closes November 12-24 seats, four gifted.
UNCHARTED TERRAIN
This is not another course. It is a call.
You are tired, and you are becoming allergic to bullshit.
There is rupture. There is unimaginable fuckery afoot. People, places and things are no longer “safe enough” and it is a scary time.
And as if that weren’t enough, the ground is also moving inside you. You are likely in a metamorphosis of your own. You are changing. You are noticing, grieving, evolving. You are in it, or you have been. Your body seems alien. What you knew of yourself you are now unsure of.
Two ruptures at once, and nobody holding either one.
The Territories/Los Terrenos
This is midlife — not the tidy version, the actual one. The ground is moving in more than one place at once.
You don't have to sort yourself into a body and a mind and a soul. You are one creature in moving country. See where you're standing.
-
-the one you actually are, not the one survival required. A body gone alien, no longer answering the way it did. Sleep, hunger, strength, skin — all renegotiating without consulting you. Awake at 3am for no reason anything will explain. And the animal in you knows before you do. It has been telling you for a while.
-
-what moves through and around you, none of it asking permission. Heat that arrives mid-sentence, in public. Fog where the word used to be. Rage out of nowhere, over nothing, and the shame right behind it. The news. The economy. People, places and things that are no longer "safe enough." You are standing in all of it at once.
-
-everything you draw from, and it is all one well. Money, energy, time, care, patience, who picks up the phone. Not separate problems — one supply, running lower than you have let anyone see. And underneath it: going without the help, and without the standing to even ask for it.
-
-who you live among. A parent who suddenly needs you, or a parent you have already buried. Children leaving, or not leaving. Family that shifted without anyone announcing it. Friendships thinning without a fight.
-
-what you thought was coming. Work that used to fit and doesn't, with no clean way out. Things you were certain of, that you are suddenly not. A future you can no longer picture the way you used to.
-
-what has no bottom. Grief you haven't called grief. The thing you keep explaining away as overwhelm, as not taking care of something.
-lo que no tiene fondo. Duelo que no has llamado duelo.
And you were already in survival. Nothing has been the same since. / Y ya estabas en modo sobrevivencia. Nada ha sido igual desde entonces.
And here is what nobody warns you about. When there is no language for it and no models for it, that absence is where you start feeling like you're fucking crazy. It's where you start shutting up and shrinking. If you have relied on your own rhythms and patterns and ways of being, and suddenly cannot operate the way you used to, it feels like a clusterfuck you don't know how to manage.
Here is the part nobody says: you outgrew it.
An animal molts because the old covering can no longer hold what it has become. The shell cracks because the creature got bigger. It is not a malfunction. It is not decline. It is the most defenseless moment in the whole life cycle, and it cannot be rushed — force a molt and the animal dies.
That is what this is. You are not falling apart. You are between coverings.
And the world is shedding its skin right alongside you.
No te estás cayendo a pedazos.
Come in
But wait — because you are starting to see some things differently, and you may question things you thought you were certain of.
Come in from the shit show. Let us witness our grief and let us celebrate our becoming. You are being called into the circle. No one can take your place in the chair. I need you. We need you.
We'll do some exploring together. We will witness each other with no agenda, no curated outcome. You are not a problem, always to be fixed.
Nobody molts in public. We're going to.
Entra

I'm Kohenet Angelique — a Hebrew Priestess ordained through the Kohenet Hebrew Priestess Institute, in the lineage of Rabbi Jill Hammer and Taya Shere: an earth-based, feminist, goddess-inclusive Judaism.
I'm a JewYoRican — a Puerto Rican Jew from New York, first generation. A poet and an artist. A Certified Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy Practitioner. And a Quantum Human Design reader — the practice I call Cartographies of Recognition. I draw people's maps for a living, which is exactly how I know what it costs to cross terrain nobody mapped for you.
More than twenty-five years of holding rooms where nobody has to hold it together. I come from a line of women who made this crossing alone.
There is a chair in this circle with my name on it, too.
Why I'm the one holding it
I buried my parents, survived covid, and have been near the edge of many a breakdown.
We have been in extraordinary times for our generation. There is massive rupture — but there is also repatterning.
I came to this through my own mother and my own grandmother — women of color who went through their version of it alone, without anyone naming it for them either. A lineage moving through uncharted terrain in isolation, without guides.
I am not in love with patience. But I am willing to meet myself where I'm at, rather than where I think I should be.
I am not holding this from the far side. I'm in it.
Estoy adentro.
This is a container, and I mean that as a verb.
I am still in it. You are still in it.
We are no longer subscribing to the idea that we are here to be fixed, or that we need another _____ to get our shit together.
Here we are walking with where we are, what our present is, and the places that are screaming to be witnessed and met, not solved.
We are being.
Estamos siendo.

We will gestate for nine weeks. We will ask questions, map, run tiny experiments. It will be hybrid — not too much pressure. Instead, we co-create the nest. Here you get to land with you. You get space to be with all that is happening for you, to you, and around you.
Things are going to be rough. We can name that. And we sure in hell don't have to stay there.
Three trimesters: Unpacking · Mapping · Experimenting
Nine weeks of self-guided material, yours to keep
Four ways into every week — written, audio, video, and an embodied ritual
Five live circles on Zoom, all recorded and shared with the group
Our own chat corner — not a feed, not a performance
Built for brain fog, executive function shifts, and neurodivergence
Vamos a gestar por nueve semanas. Vamos a hacer preguntas, a mapear, a hacer experimentos chiquitos.
Tres trimestres: Desempacar · Mapear · Experimentar

We rest for three weeks over the holidays.

Yes, if —
You are somewhere in the middle of your life and almost nothing is where you left it
You're grieving something you haven't been able to name — a person, a body, a version of yourself, a world
The change is part of it (perimenopause, menopause, or the maybe before anyone will say it plainly) — but it is not all of it
You've been handed protocols, supplements and more somatic exercises, anyone?! when what you wanted was to be believed
Your capacity changes day to day and you need a container that already knows that
You want company more than you want a curriculum
This circle is open to everyone in midlife — women, men, trans and nonbinary folks. The ground is moving for all of us, and almost nobody is being told the truth about it.
Probably not, if —
You want medical treatment or a symptom protocol. This isn't that.
You want a fixed, finished version of yourself in nine weeks.
You'd rather do this alone right now. That's a real and respectable choice.
Probablemente no, si —

180 dollars — in full, or two payments of 90.
Four of the 24 seats are gifted seats, for anyone without current access to the funds.

What if I can't make a circle live? Every circle is recorded and shared with the group. Recordings go to the circle only — never public, never anywhere else.
Do I have to talk? No. Witnessing is participating. Camera off, say nothing, still held. Nobody gets called on.
Is this medical care? No. I'm not a doctor and this is not treatment, diagnosis, or a protocol. If you want medical support I hope you get it — and I hope you're believed the first time you ask.
Is this a perimenopause course? It's a midlife course, and the change is in it. If what's rupturing is your work, your parents, your marriage, your faith or your sense of the world — you're also in the right room.
What if I have a bad week and fall behind? There is no behind. The material is yours to keep.
¿Y si tengo una semana mala y me atraso? No hay atrasarse. El material es tuyo para quedártelo.
Who's in the room? Up to 24 people moving through the same nine weeks at the same time. Midlife is not checking anyone's paperwork, and neither am I.
